WHEN WILL THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE NUR-SULTAN-ALMATY HIGHWAY BE COMPLETED

Alikhan Smailov got acquainted with the progress of the reconstruction of the Karaganda-Balkhash-Saryshagan highway (section 1492.4-2005 km), which is part of the Center-South international transit corridor connecting the cities of Nur-Sultan and Almaty, Zakon.kz reports.

As noted on the website of the head of government, Meirkhat Kasymbayev, Chairman of the Board of NC KazAvtoZhol JSC, specified that the project is expected to be fully completed in December 2023.

In 2022, according to him, work continues on the construction of the structural layers of the roadway, the installation of artificial structures and the procurement of road construction materials.

So, for example, full-scale road construction work is being carried out on the highways of republican significance Karaganda – Balkhash and Balkhash – Burylbaital, etc. Here, work has resumed at all 8 sections.

After the reconstruction works are completed, these routes will correspond to the I-th technical category with four lanes.

The project will ensure safe and comfortable travel, significantly reducing travel time. The renovated road will become a driver in the development of the tourist cluster of Lake Balkhash and stimulate the creation of new jobs.

THE TRACEABILITY SYSTEM IN THE EAEU WILL BE TESTED UNTIL MARCH 2023

The most active participants in the experiment are Russia and Belarus. On July 1, the EAEU launched a pilot project to introduce a traceability mechanism for goods imported into the customs territory of the Union. At the same time, only refrigerators are involved in the experiment so far. Aleksey Kasyanyuk, Head of the Desk Control Department of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, spoke about this within the framework of the All-Russian Business Online Congress.

“Russia has already carried out technological testing of information exchange mechanisms. Belarus too. There is no information on other member countries of the Union yet,” the speaker noted.

Temporarily, the Federal Tax Service is doing “very well” with the traceability system, and the business is still getting used to it. Once the pilot project ends on March 31, 2023, exporters will have new responsibilities. They, in particular, will have to transfer data on the shipment of goods to the traceability system no later than 1 day before the operation is carried out.

“Then, at the customs office, for example, of the Republic of Belarus, employees will check the documents for a batch of refrigerators to see if this delivery is registered in the supranational traceability system,” explained Aleksey Kasyanyuk.

In Russia, 166,000 taxpayers have registered in the import traceability system, the expert noted. During the year of the system’s existence, its participants imported 65,000 consignments worth more than 1 trillion rubles into the Russian Federation.

Recall that from January 1, 2023, the Federal Tax Service plans to organize the receipt of primary documents in the form of electronic invoices and universal transfer documents directly from electronic document management operators within 24 hours. Thus, the tax office will be able to ensure the functioning of the traceability system in a mode as close as possible to online.
