FIRST CONTAINER TRAIN LAUNCHED THROUGH IRAN
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Ibrahim Raisi took part in the online ceremony of launching the first container train from Kazakhstan through Iran to Turkey. The starting point of the pilot freight train was Pavlodar, and a few days later, after passing through the territory of Turkmenistan, it arrived in Tehran. During the ceremony, the heads of state launched the train to Turkey.
In his speech, the Head of our state expressed gratitude to the governments and railway authorities of the two countries for the preparation and practical implementation of this project.
The pilot container train, organized by KTZ Express JSC, consists of 48 units of 20-foot containers. The length of the 12-day route is 6,336 km.
The launch of a new transnational communication that does not require transshipment of goods will contribute to the diversification of alternative routes and increase container traffic through the territory of Kazakhstan.

He noted the importance of its launch, given the difficult geopolitical conditions. This project will enable the full use of the transport corridor connecting the northern and southern, western and eastern directions.
KYRGYZ TEMIR ZHOLU, INSTEAD OF WRITE-OFF, MODERNIZED CAR
“Kyrgyz temir jolu” presented an experimental modernized passenger car intended for intra-republican traffic. This was reported by the press service of the enterprise.
The car to be written off was modernized at the car repair plant. The car was tested for strength and safety with the receipt of all permits of compliance with the requirements of fire and electrical safety rules.
“It should be noted that during the modernization, the structural part of the car did not change, the modernization of the car was to improve the interior and create a more comfortable and safe stay in the passenger compartment of the car by persons choosing to travel by rail,” the message says.
For the comfort of passengers, window openings have been enlarged and panoramic windows have been installed, which gives a more voluminous and colorful view of the nature of Kyrgyzstan with individually installed seats that provide a comfortable stay during the trip.
New elements of running gears and automatic brakes have been installed, which ensures traffic safety. For the comfort of the trip, winter-summer air conditioning systems have been installed, and for the convenience of passengers, a refrigerator for cooling drinks and a cooler for drinking water have been installed in the car.
On the way, the passenger can evaluate the quality of the video stereo system of the new full-screen TVs.
It was noted that the modernization of the car was carried out by the enterprise, without attracting external investments.
